Frequently Asked Questions
What are your fees?
The Psychologists’ Association of Alberta sets forth hourly rates as a guide for Psychologists' fees though these can vary based on the service provided and experience of the psychologist. My current rates for assessment and counselling are set at $250/hour.

Assessments can range in the number of hours required depending on the type of assessment requested (e.g., giftedness or psycho-educational). This will be clarified during our initial conversation once the type of assessment needed is determined.
Are psychological services covered through insurance?
Many individuals have extended health benefits through their personal or work-related insurance that provides coverage for psychological services. It is recommended that you check your benefits to ensure that you understand your coverage (e.g., your maximum amount covered per session, how many sessions each family member has covered per year, your maximum annual coverage, and when your annual coverage renews) as these can all vary according to your specific policy. I do not bill insurance companies directly, but receipts will be provided that may be used for reimbursement purposes.
How do I make an appointment?
You may request an appointment through the Contact Us section of this website. You will hear back within 24 hours to confirm an appointment. Wait times may vary depending on time of year. Sessions are by appointment only. In the event of a crisis or emergency, please call Health Link at 811 or go directly to your nearest emergency centre.
Do you offer Telepsychology Services?

Online or telephone appointments are available and may be appropriate depending upon your referral concern. If you are interested in online or telephone services, please indicate this in your request for an appointment.
